Job Description
We are looking for software engineers to join our team to help develop our online deformation mapping and analysis platform. Hansje Brinker is a TU Delft spin-off. Our product is based on satellite radar interferometry, a data-intensive methodology to measure millimeter scale deformations on the ground from space. You’ll be working in a small, collaborative team. We are a high-tech startup, where you will make a fundamental impact on the success of the company. This is part-time or a full-time position, at our office in Delft, The Netherlands. We offer a salary in line with your skills and experience.Your responsibilities
- Improve the software, infrastructure and system architecture for high throughput data delivery
- Build new analytical tools
- Execute against / deliver input for the product roadmap
Skills & Requirements
- Fluent in Python and JavaScript
- Preferably experience with web mapping and data visualization
- Basic understanding of Linux web server management / SQL and database programming
- Experience with Django, openlayers, ext.js/jQuery is a plus
Lead Developer
Hansje Brinker is looking for a Developer who will design and build the system that delivers our data as a service.
Responsibilities:- Design and build the next generation high throughput product in line with the Product Requirement Document
- Provide technical guidance and visibility to the engineering team
- Work with engineering to help implement best practices, improve infrastructure and system architecture
- Design and migrate the new software from the Hansje Brinker lab to a production environment
- Support and maintain contact with domain experts with clients
- Build technical operations, provide leadership to help set company goals for technical performance
- Graduate degree in engineering

Lead InSAR Engineer
Hansje Brinker is looking for a senior InSAR engineer with strong quantitative skills, who will apply our technology in projects and help develop our suite of products. This position will be located in our Delft office.
Responsibilities:- Processing, modeling and visualization of satellite data in the software system
- Project engineering
- Process automation and software design in a supporting role
- Work with commercial team in pre-sales consulting with prospects
- Lead operational support of clients’ domain experts in projects
- Ph.D. degree in engineering
- At least 2 years experience applying InSAR operationally
- Experience in a professional environment with project management and customer-facing work as part of a team
- Working knowledge and programming experience in technical computing software such as Python, C++, Matlab or similar programming languages
- Excellent written and oral reporting skills; continuous communication with customers is a key part of this position
- Proven outstanding quantitative and analytical skills

Field Applications Engineer
We are looking for an engineer with strong quantitative skills for the implementation of projects and product development. This position will be located in our Delft office.
Responsibilities:- Processing, modeling and visualization of data in the software system
- Apply the algorithms to datasets in the context of specific projects
- Discover ways for process automation
- Work with civil engineering and surveying domain experts at customers and partners
- B.Sc. or equivalent, preferably in Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Geodesy
- Knowledge and experience with technical computing software such as MatLab
- Hands-on experience with either conventional geodetics or surveying methods or with InSAR is a plus

Hansje Brinker is looking for a technical sales manager to expand the direct – and eventually indirect – sales of our innovative service, and to drive revenue from the next generation of customers. This position will be located in our San Mateo office.
Responsibilities:- Sales of the monitoring service and the underlying system
- Definition of value proposition for all types of customer organizations, business or government
- Eventually develop channel partners (such as engineering firms and contractors) and create of channel network
- Support and maintain contact with domain experts with clients
- Identifying new business opportunities and prospects
- Track record in selling complex services in the infrastructure, construction, or similar technical industries
- At least 5 years work experience, of which at least 3 in a commercial role
- Network in the realm of infrastructure management throughout the region
- Experience with bidding on government projects

Hansje Brinker is looking for a sales manager to expand the direct and indirect sales of our innovative service, and to drive revenue from the next generation of customers. You will take the sales expertise we have built up with our Dutch customers and partners, and then expand into other geographical markets. This position will be located in our Delft office.
Responsibilities:- Sales of the monitoring service and the underlying system
- Define our value proposition for all types of customers in business or government organizations
- Eventually develop channel partners (such as engineering firms and contractors) and create channel network
- Interface with and guide our Technical Account Managers: support and maintain contact with domain experts with clients
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and prospects
- Track record in selling complex services in the infrastructure, construction, or similar technical industries
- Network in these industries throughout the region
- At least 10 years work experience, of which at least 3 in a commercial role
- Experience with bidding on government projects and in successfully implementing innovative projects
- Professional and communicative solutions sales person
- Flexible and dynamic self-starter
- 40% or more of the time outside the office
- Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, yet process-driven
