Hansje Brinker builds a complete system for infrastructure managers to monitor their levees, dams, railroads and other major infrastructural projects. This innovative service is based on satellite radar interferometry, a data-intensive methodology that provides insight in dynamic deformations on the ground. Our start-up company is in a high-growth phase to roll out the product worldwide, initially focusing on water management. Vice President of Engineering
Hansje Brinker is looking for a Vice President of Engineering who will manage the team that builds out our technical operations and delivers world-class software products.
Responsibilities:- Building of technical operations, provide leadership to help set team goals for performance and technical excellence
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the Engineering team
- Work with engineering to help administer and encourage best practices, improve infrastructure and architecture
- Design and build software in line with the Product Requirement Document
- Support and maintain contact with domain experts with clients
- Graduate degree in engineering
- At least 8 years experience in a professional environment
- Working knowledge of technical computing software such as MatLab, Python, C++ or similar programming languages
- Proven ability to build, operate and maintain a large-scale service
- Experience with software development life-cycle management and engineering best practices for software design.
- Preferably solid understanding of earth observation technology

Lead Computational Engineer
Hansje Brinker is looking for a senior engineer with strong quantitative skills to apply our technology in projects and help develop our suite of products.
Responsibilities:- Processing, modeling and visualization of satellite data in the software system
- Project engineering

Junior Engineer Computational
We are looking for a junior engineer with strong quantitative skills for the implementation of projects and product development.
Responsibilities:- Processing, modeling and visualization of data in the software system
- Apply program to datasets in the context of specific projects

- Technical training, at least B.Sc. or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in technical computing software such as MatLab
- Experience working with Linux

Sales Manager Western Europe
Hansje Brinker is looking for an enterprise salesperson to expand the direct and indirect sales of our innovative service, and to drive revenue from the next generation of customers.
Responsibilities:- Sales of the monitoring service and the underlying system
- Definition of value proposition for all types of customers in business or government (municipal, provincial, and water boards) organizations
- Support existing channel partners (such as engineering firms and contractors) and creation of channel network
- Support and maintain contact with domain experts with clients
- Identifying new business opportunities and prospects
- Track record in selling complex services in area
- At least 5 years work experience, of which at least 2 in a commercial role, preferably in a technical environment
- Network in the realm of infrastructure management throughout the region
- Experience with bidding on government projects
- Commercial, closer
- 50% of the time outside the office
- Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity
